-- clanwars news wire -- Night fell on the plains of no map selected as clans [DM] and -]GL[- marched off the field. The quiet was in stark contrast to the war that was waged earlier in the day leaving Chuck, boss of losing clan -]GL[- searching for answers as to what went wrong for his men.
"There were a lot of blood, sweat and tears spilled out there today. I survived, that's about all I can say." said Chuck obviously still contemplating the outcome and visibly upset over the defeat. Over at camp [DM] the revelery lasted long into the night, "Some say the world will end in fire, others say ice - from the blood I tasted today I say bring it on, we'll see who is left standing when it's all said and done." said MurkeD who saw his clan go out and grab 220 big points to leave themselves positioned at #2.
"No one wanted to give up, people were throwing themselves into the line of fire just trying to push up and get some better ground. I saw things out there I hope I never see again." said Chuck of the losing clan, "our effort was there, but... well there are no buts". Both clans fought hard and were deserving of a win, but in the end only one can come out victorious. For [DM] this could be a sprinboard to the coveted clanwars cup. -- clanwars news wire -- "It was brutal out there" said Chuck, "we just couldn't stop the onslaught. But, we'll be back". The fallout continued today well after [DM] walked off of no map selected with a decisive victory over #1 ranked -]GL[-.
"Our clan worked hard today." said MurkeD boss of the winning clan. Other members of [DM] were seen celebrating back at camp and counting the 220 points they tallied that moved them into the #2 slot on the ladder. With 17 days left in the tourney there isn't idle time...the men of -]GL[- were already planning a counter attack, hoping these two heavyweights will square of again soon.
"Look, our clan was out there laying waste, we ravaged, we pillaged and guess what...it's just the beginning." said one of [DM]'s unknown warriors, when pressed to reveal his identity the warrior who was heading off into the night yelled back "they'll know who I am next time they dare cross us again."

-- clanwars news wire -- Two heavyweights walked off of no map selected earlier today, one clan knowing they belong on a short list of great clans and the other doubting all they've achieved to date, wondering if they are worthy to be called champions.

Earlier today the scene at no map selected told it all...locals were still stunned at the carnage left in the wake of the big battle claiming to have never seen the devestation they did Monday.

crashu06 falls to clan mob CnC Renegade clan wars news service Friday, September 13, 2024 6:04 PM EST
-- clanwars news wire -- mobie stood back and just took it all in for a minute and then let loose "We came, we saw, we conquered.". "My guys came to win today!" he added after his men, the men of mob stormed out on no map selected and took down cru in an epic battle that left onlookers amazed and saw the #1 ranked warrior in the land, crashu06 wondering what went wrong.
crashu06 when asked how mob got the better of his mates today only had this to say "You’ve got to do some soul searching after a day like this; the amount of devastation was something I’ll never forget.", he left the area shortly afterwards and could be seen talking to his clan, we assume planning for a rematch.
The big win sent shockwaves down through the ladder as mob picked up 105 points which left them ranked #4. cru who suffered defeat stood at rank #3 after the dust settled and crashu06 was slotted at #5 after the points were tallied.

Bracketed Tournaments online

The bracketed tournaments are now back online.
Remember tournaments can run 8, 16, 32, 64, or 128 slots either 1v1 or clan-based.
Ask your admin to create a tournament and see who wins without any point chase to argue about.
The staff at clanwars sincerely hopes you enjoy the newly styled tournament system. Click the "tournaments" tab from your league menu to view any tournaments for your league.

Submitting Bugs

Thank you all for being patient while we turn up the new site and squash all the bugs that made it past QA.
Since we went live a handful of annoying bugs have been fixed; some of the most prominent ones were the upload error bug when uploading match media; deleting PM bug; gamespy auto result bug, absolving clan bug and a few others all have been fixed.
As you find new bugs, small or large, please post them here
